Special shout-out to the Jespersen crew who always celebrates New Year's Eve in Harrisburg, PA at Mamama and FarFar's house. So many wonderful memories, both at the pink house and their current home.
-youngest cousins passing out the presents to the aunts and uncles
-throwing laundry down the chute onto other cousins
-being roommates with Aunt Molly
-board games and charades
-attempting to play on their organ
-Mamama's Santa and polar bear collections
-Christmas Mass with the family at St. Francis of Assisi
-drinking champagne out of the square champagne glasses
-fighting over/using the same hats and noise-makers year after year
-watching the uncles fight over the fez hat every year (my dad usually won)
-slow dancing with my dad after midnight
-New Year's Day yoga with Aunt Kathee
-watching the uncles hurt themselves while chest bumping
-sledding on the Coca-Cola saucer
-Aunt Molly's chair
-Buster in front of the fire
-Mister Boo! and Missy Moo!
-the bomb shelter race car track
-air hockey
-watching FarFar fall asleep anywhere
-Yule Log by Uncle Rick
-pre-New Year's Eve party at Uncle Allan and Aunt Marcia's
-New Year's Day Bloody Marys (not that I participated)
And so much more. Thank you for all the wonderful memories and a life full of a loving, perfect family, Mamama and FarFar.
